Rangers' Mark Warburton and James Tavernier have been named Scottish Championship manager and player of the month for August.
The pair have enjoyed the perfect start to their careers in Scotland, helping the team secure six straight league victories and 10 successive wins in all competitions.
Warburton and his assistant Davie Weir have turned around the fortunes of the Glasgow side who failed to gain promotion to the Scottish Premiership through the play-offs last season.
Since assuming control in the summer, they have revamped the squad with a number of shrewd acquisitions including right full-back Tavernier, who joined in July along with former Wigan team-mate Martyn Waghorn.
The 23-year-old announced his arrival with a superb goal against Hibernian on his debut and has gone on to score a further five, three in the Championship.
After picking up the individual award, the Rangers boss paid tribute to his squad and said he was also delighted with a player inquest into the team performance on Saturday, despite a comfortable 3-0 win over Livingston.
"Any award we receive, player or staff, is always about the team," Warburton said.
"We speak to the team and it is about their work and them getting the rewards for their work and commitment, so any we get is a testament to all their endeavours.
"As a squad, as a football department, we are hungry. The reaction to Saturday's result was really pleasing; they we unhappy, dissatisfied with the performance.
"There were certain areas we fell short in and to have that sort of inquest after a 3-0 home win was really pleasing for us."
Rangers, who face a trip to Dumbarton at the weekend, sit top of the league, five points clear of Falkirk with a positive goal difference of 19.
