Hearts defender Igor Rossi has left the club to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Faisaly Harmah.

Brazilian-born Rossi has made 55 appearances for the Jambos since joining from Portuguese side Maritimo in August 2015 but he has been allowed to leave Tynecastle.

“The club can confirm that subject to a medical and international clearance, Igor Rossi has left to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Faisaly Harmah,” read a statement on Hearts’ official website.

“Everyone at the club is sad to see Igor go but he was presented with an amazing opportunity for him and his family.

“Once he had expressed his wish to grasp the opportunity, we obviously would not stand in his way.
