Kilmarnock have signed midfielder Gary Dicker from Carlisle United and defender Lee Hodson from MK Dons.

Dicker, 29, has been with the Cumbrians since June 2014 when he joined them on a free transfer from Crawley Town.

He had previously played for Stockport County, Brighton & Hove Albion and Rochdale.

Dicker, who started for Carlisle in their FA Cup defeat to Everton on Sunday, could make his debut for Killie in the Scottish Cup tie against Rangers at Ibrox on Saturday.

Kilmarnock assistant coach Peter Leven said: "We have been in talks with Gary over the last few weeks, He is a good midfield player and we're delighted to welcome him to Kilmarnock FC at an important stage in the season."

Dicker said: "I'm looking forward to joining the team at Kilmarnock and hopefully making a valuable contribution over the course of the next few weeks."

Northern Ireland international Hodson has moved to Rugby Park on loan from MK Dons until the end of the season.

Right-back Hodson has made 51 appearances since moving to the Dons in July 2013 but has seen his match action limited this season, featuring just eight times in all competitions.
