Stephen O'Donnell, Charlie Mulgrew and Kevin McDonald have pulled out of the Scotland squad for their upcoming Nations League games against Albania and Israel.

Kilmarnock manager Steve Clarke had already said that defender O'Donnell was set to miss out after he picked up a hamstring injury in training that forced him to miss their 1-0 win at Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts on Saturday.

The Killie defender was originally named in Alex McLeish's squad for this month's away game against Albania on November 17 and the home clash with Israel on November 20.

But he will now miss out, as will Blackburn midfielder Mulgrew and Fulham's McDonald.

Mulgrew is struggling with a rib problem, while McDonald misses Fulham's game against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday lunchtime with a hamstring complaint.

The Scottish FA have not announced any replacements for the injured trio. Scotland are second in Nations League C Group 1 with three points from two games.
