Killie sign Frenchman

Kilmarnock have signed defender Mickael Wolski to a month's contract.

Kilmarnock have signed defender Mickael Wolski to a month's contract at Rugby Park.

The Frenchman impressed Jim Jefferies's side in the summer after leaving Ligue 1 side Ajaccio before an Achilles injury hampered his chances of signing a contract at the time.

Wolski returned to France to recuperate and he has returned the Ayrshire-based outfit in full fitness.

The defender will look to impress during his four-week stay and earn a proper contract with Killie.

"All at the club were impressed by Mickael during his summer trial period and if he performs to our expectations during this month-long period, then we may consider an extension to this deal," said Kilmarnock general manager David Mackinnon.
