Experienced striker keeping options open

Kilmarnock striker Kevin Kyle insists he has not made a decision on his future after having a trial match with Spartak Nalchik. The 28-year-old is out of contract this summer and accepted the chance to play a friendly with Spartak at their pre-season camp in Turkey. Although Kyle did not score in the 3-0 win he did have a hand in one of the goals and 'enjoyed' his experience with the Russian Premier League outfit.

No decision

"I've not decided on anything," he explained. "I've just come out to speak to them. I enjoyed the experience." Spartak's assistant coach Kazbek Nakhushev believes Kyle has a good chance of earning a deal. "We are aiming to recruit several new players," he said. "So Kyle has a good chance of being offered a deal."
