Hibernian defenders David Gray and Darren McGregor have signed new four-year contracts with the club.
Hibs captain Gray moved to Easter Road from Burton on a free transfer in 2014 and scored the winning goal as they beat Rangers to win the Scottish Cup two years later, ending a 114-year wait for the trophy.
McGregor has battled through serious injury problems earlier in his career to become a mainstay of the side after coming to Edinburgh from Rangers four years ago.
Paul Heckingbottom's side sit fifth in the Scottish Premiership and he has welcomed the decision of two of his key players to commit their future to the club.
"We're fortunate to have two experienced players of real quality and I have spoken repeatedly about their qualities as leaders and role models within our dressing room," he said.
"From their perspective, this club clearly means the world to them and it can only be a good thing that they will continue to help shape it over the next four years.
"Be in no doubt, they are first-team players. The challenge, for the pair of them, is to maintain that for as long as they can."
