Defender arrives from Hibs for an undisclosed fee
Leicester have confirmed the signing of Sol Bamba from Scottish Premier League club Hibernian for an undisclosed fee.
Bamba played for Foxes boss Sven-Goran Eriksson for the Ivory Coast in last summer's World Cup and becomes the Swede's second signing of the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old centre-half joins Manchester City loan arrival Ben Mee at the Walkers Stadium as Eriksson looks to shape the side he took over in October.
Bamba began his career at Paris St Germain, before joining Dunfermline Athletic and then Hibernian, where he scored four goals in two and a half seasons.
The Ivorian has 18 caps for his country and offers versatility, having slotted in at full-back and midfield for The Elephants.
