Falkirk ace Ryan Flynn is confident his side can avoid relegation from the SPL
Flynn, who was named as Clydesdale Bank Premier League young player of the month for March, scored two goals last month and he also bagged the winner against Motherwell at the weekend.
The 21-year-old is happy to receive individual plaudits, but is more concerned with helping Falkirk to safety this season.
"The announcement I was young player of the month has coincided with the team playing well," Flynn told the
Daily Record.
"Personal awards are nice but three points against Motherwell were nicer.
Confident
"We're really confident about the challenges that lie ahead. We have six tough games coming up but we all believe we can take the points necessary to stay up.
"Personally, I don't feel any pressure. Maybe I should but we don't and the manager stresses to us the importance of expressing ourselves and playing without fear.
"Hopefully the win against Motherwell will spur us on to record back-to-back wins for the first time this season when we face St Mirren.
"We're certainly not thinking negatively about all that lies ahead of us.
"The manager has been talking about pushing on from this position and since he has been here the team spirit has been great.
"The confidence among the lads is very high and the football we're playing on the back of it is really good.
"If I'm honest, I never imagined we would be in this position when I arrived on loan at the start of the season because we were playing some great stuff.
"However, I have absolutely no regrets about making my move permanent. I'm thoroughly enjoying the short time I've spent at the club so far."
