David Turnbull signs new Motherwell deal

Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract.
Turnbull had four months left on his previous deal but that has now been extended until the summer of 2021.
This season, the 19-year-old has scored five times in 13 starts for Stephen Robinson's side.
Speaking about deciding to secure his future at Fir Park, Turnbull said: "I am really pleased to get this deal over the line and to have my immediate future sorted.
"I can kick on now, keep getting games under my belt, keep trying to do what I'm doing and hopefully it could be the start of something.
"I think I've made a decent start, but I know I've got a lot to learn and the place for me to do that is at Motherwell."
Robinson was "delighted" Turnbull decided to stay at Motherwell and extend his contract.
"It's to his [Turnbull's] credit that he has rejected the possibility of a more to a bigger or so-called more lucrative club in favour of continuing his development here, playing first-team football," he said.
"He's made a brilliant start to his Motherwell career, but he also knows that he can get even better if he continues to work hard and continues to learn.
"He's joined other academy graduates such as Allan Campbell, Chris Cadden and Jake Hastie who are now imposing themselves on the first team.
"The positive news for the club is that we have others hot on their heels with the likes of Barry Maguire, Adam Livingstone, James Scott and more close to making their own impact."
