Defender agrees one-year deal
John Potter is set to return to newly-promoted Dunfermline after agreeing a one-year deal with his home-town club.
The 31-year-old defender will undergo a medical on Monday before completing his move from St Mirren, who withdrew a contract offer last month.
"I am really pleased to bring in someone with great experience and a proven Premier League player," Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre told the club's
official website.
"He was captain of St Mirren for the last three seasons and he is a real leader on the park."
Potter will be Dunfermline's second signing from St Mirren this summer after goalkeeper Paul Gallacher also returned to East End Park.
