Caen and Toulouse edged closer to Ligue 1 survival after playing out a goalless draw in their re-arranged fixture in Normandy.

The original clash was postponed on April 14 due to inclement weather at the Stade Michel d'Ornano, which left the pitch in an unplayable condition.

However, chances were at a premium with Youssef Ait Bennasser going close for the hosts just before the hour mark, while at the other end, Ivory Coast international Max Gradel could only fire at goalkeeper Remy Vercoutre.
