Substitute Moussa Dembele fired a last-gasp winner as Lyon came from behind to defeat St Etienne 2-1 in the Derby Rhone-Alpes.
Romain Hamouma's powerful 21st-minute header gave Les Verts the upper hand at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard but Nabil Fekir levelled from the penalty spot after the hour mark.
Anthony Lopes made two fine saves to deny Leo Dubois as time ticked away before, five minutes into stoppage time, an unmarked Dembele nodded in a winner at the far post.
Morgan Sanson scored the only goal of a 1-0 victory at Caen as Marseille boss Rudi Garcia secured a win that could earn him more time in the Stade Velodrome dugout.
Garcia is reportedly on thin ice at OM but saw Sanson stick away Kevin Strootman's assist in the 47th minute to deliver him all three points by way of a lifeline.
Strugglers Caen could not recover from having defender Frederic Guilbert sent off shortly after Sanson scored.
Dijon remain in the relegation play-off place after losing 1-0 at Bordeaux. Les Rouges had Romain Amalfitano dismissed before substitute Andreas Cornelius notched.
Elsewhere, a stoppage-time strike from Angelo Fulgini saw Angers beat Nantes 1-0 for a first win in seven games while Dimitry Bertaud made two crucial saves, including one against Hatem Ben Arfa, as Montpellier ground out a goalless draw at Rennes.
