Barca ace won't call time on international career

Thierry Henry insists he will not call time on his international career following France's Euro 2008 exit. Henry and co were unceremoniously dumped out of Austria and Switzerland on Tuesday after they failed to avenge their World Cup final defeat two years ago by crashing to a 2-0 loss to Italy. The result meant Raymond Domenech's side finished the tournament with just one point and one goal to their name from their three matches. Although some believed Henry, who helped Les Bleus claim the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000 trophies, may call time on his France career, he insists he is not ready to hang up his international boots.

Future

"This defeat doesn't change my future," he is quoted in the Sun. "Quitting the national team went through my head but I know what is going to happen now. We win or lose all together. "It's not only the manager's problem, even if I know lots of people will talk about him. We had the same manager in the 2006 World Cup final."
