Centre-back facing four weeks out with groin tear

Lyon defender John Mensah is facing up to one month out of action after tearing his groin muscle. The Ghana international centre-back sustained the injury in his club's 2-2 draw with Lille last week and was forced off before full-time. And the 25-year-old, who has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs despite only joining Lyon in July, has expressed his frustration at the prospect of a possible four-week spell on the sidelines. "I am really disappointed," Mensah told skysports.com. "So far, it has not been great for me at Lyon. "I was getting back to my best form, but that is life. I will be fine soon."
