Only one game takes place as big freeze hits Coupe de France

Rennes booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Coupe de France by defeating Evian 3-2 in the only last-16 game to go ahead on Tuesday night. With the evening's two other scheduled matches between Dijon and Paris Saint-Germain and Quevilly and Orleans postponed due to frozen pitches, the game at Route de Lorient took centre stage. The hosts went in front through Jires Ekoko after 21 minutes and Julien Feret made it 2-0 nine minutes into the second period. Substitute Yacine Brahimi made it three in the 68th minute, before late consolation strikes by Kevin Berigaud (70 pen) and Sidney Govou (73) set up a grandstand finish. PSG's game at Dijon has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, while Quevilly and Orleans will now meet on February 21.
