Panathinaikos have completed the signing of French international Sidney Govou on a free transfer.
Govou has signed a two-year deal with the Greek champions after leaving Lyon at the end of last season.
A number of Premier League clubs had been linked with Govou, with West Ham reported to have made an offer for the winger.
However, Panathinaikos have managed to lure the 31-year-old to Greece and he will boost their squad as they prepare for the UEFA Champions League next season.
Govou will link up with France team-mate Djibril Cisse at Panathinaikos and they could be joined by Les Bleus ace William Gallas, who is also available on a free transfer.
