Sedan booked their place in the quarter-finals of the French League Cup, while Bordeuax's tie with Le Mans was postponed. Holders Bordeaux saw their clash at Le Mans called off because of heavy snowfall and it remains to be seen when the game will actually be played. Sedan got the better of fellow second division side Clermont with a narrow 1-0 win. Alexis Allart scored the only goal of the game on 57 minutes to send Sedan into the last eight.
