Makoun blow for Lille

Lille's Jean Makoun faces a month out after spraining his knee.

The 21-year-old picked up the injury in the 0-0 draw against Sochaux and is expected to be out until March.

"After the examinations, I will know more precisely the seriousness of my injury," said Makoun.

"Even if the pain is not as bad as it was on Sunday, it still seems to be a serious injury."

Lille's injury problems are beginning to mount, as they challenge Lyon for the Ligue 1 title.
