Gabon international completes move from Milan

St Etienne have announced that on-loan forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has joined the club permanently from AC Milan. The 22-year-old has penned a deal with the Ligue 1 outfit that will take him through to June 2016. The Gabon international first linked up with St Etienne in January, before returning to France over the summer. He has impressed during his time with Les Verts and they have decided to bring him on board full-time. Aubameyang leaves Milan without having made a single senior appearance, with all of his first-team experience to date having been picked up in France. He has taken in previous spells with Dijon, Lille and Monaco, but will spend the foreseeable future looking to spearhead St Etienne's attack.

Ambition

"I am really pleased to sign permanently with ASSE," Aubameyang, who has netted six goals so far this season, told the club's official website. "It was my ambition in coming to St Etienne. "This is one of the finest passages of my young career. "I will continue to give my all for the club. Now my ambition is to continue in the same vein in the second half of the season." St Etienne coach Christophe Galtier added: "It was a real desire of all parties. Everything was easily resolved."
