Pascal Feindouno is unsure what the summer will hold, with his short-term deal at Monaco set to expire.
The 30-year-old Guinea international returned to France in January on a six-month contract.
The former Bordeaux and St Etienne playmaker spurned moves to Celtic and Wigan in favour of making a switch to Ligue 1, but has struggled to make an impact at Stade Louis II.
He is now expecting to be on the move again at the end of the season, but admits to being uncertain as to where he will be heading.
"I was close to signing for Celtic but we couldn't agree terms," Feindouno, who saw his contract at Al-Sadd Doha cancelled in December, told
L'Equipe.

"They told me 'This is not Qatar'. But if you are to go there you have to ask for big money because it is so cold.
"I was then about to sign for Wigan but missed a friendly game because they didn't believe that I was a free agent and decided to wait for a confirmation letter.
"We will now have to see what happens. I might stay in France, I might go abroad or Monaco might offer me something.
"I feel that I can still play at my best for another three seasons and then my days will be over."
