Luyindula thrilled to join PSG
Peguy Luyindula has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by signing for PSG.
Peguy Luyindula claims he has fulfilled a lifelong ambition by joining Paris Saint Germain. The striker spent the first half of the season on loan at Levante from Marseille, but he endured a miserable time in Spain.
Luyindula has now signed a three-and-a-half year deal with PSG and is looking to rediscover his best form.
"I thank the chairman for trusting me," Luyindula told the official PSG website.
"I have always wanted to play for PSG because the players made me dream when I was a child. I even had a jacket of the club, even if it was an ugly one.
"I made financial sacrifices to join Paris, so it was a big step to make. I wouldn't have accepted that situation with another club."
Luyindula will have to wait to make his debut after PSG reached an agreement with Marseille for him not to play in this Sunday's clash between the two clubs.
"It is terrible not to be allowed to play against L'OM. It disturbs me. If it was up to me, I would immediately put my shorts on."
