Jon Driscoll and Terry Gibson discuss more dropped points for Barcelona and Real Madrid on this week's La Liga Weekly Podcast.
Plus, with the big two slipping up, Atletico Madrid have moved to the summit of La Liga and Gibson is delighted to see Diego Simeone's side challenging Real and Barca again.
"It doesn't seem so long ago that they were drawing against Barcelona and drawing their opening two games and people were wondering whether they could sustain this period of relative success in terms of competing with the top two and competing in Europe," Gibson told La Liga Weekly.
"Now they are going from strength to strength in the league and it's good to see. We want to see the three teams battling it out at the top.
"Some things never change for Atletico. They are still not conceding goals and it's great to watch how they are doing it. I also think they are developing in possession of the ball as well. It's taken a while for Kevin Gameiro to settle in but the goal at the weekend against Valencia was fantastic.
"Everything is looking rosy for Atletico at the moment, especially with the other two clubs dropping points."
