Also there was a fine drive by Pablo Piatti, netting his seventh of the season to secure a 1-0 victory for Espanyol at Malaga, and strikes for Eibar against Valencia by Sergi Enrich and Dani Garcia. The former scored a fine, diving header while the latter produced a stunning, thunderous volley from the edge of the area.
