Argentine striker seals move

Genoa have won the race to sign powerful striker Diego Milito from Real Zaragoza. The Argentine international had been strongly linked with a move to England and even up until Monday it was reported Tottenham were trying to seal a deal. However, Milito has now returned to his former club Genoa after they agreed a deal worth around £6million with Zaragoza - who were relegated from La Liga last season. Milito has penned a three-year deal with the Grifone. The 29-year-old has been joined at the Luigi Ferraris by Palermo's Bosko Jankovic. The young Serbian only moved to Sicily last summer, but he founds his chances limited and has now accepted a season-long loan move to Genoa.
