Espanyol have agreed a season-long loan deal to bring Argentine right-back Ivan Pillud to the club.
The 23-year-old moves to the Primera Liga side from Tiro Federal in his homeland.
Espanyol announced the move on their website and added that they will have an option to buy Pillud at the end of his loan stay.
Pillud, who spent last season on loan with Newell's Old Boys, will now be hoping to make his mark in Spain.
