Cristiano Ronaldo insists he is happy to help Real Madrid with his goals after breaking Jimmy Greaves' all-time goal record in his side's 4-1 win at Celta Vigo on Wednesday.
Ronaldo made yet more history by reaching 368 goals for clubs in the top five leagues - combining his efforts at Manchester United and Real - leapfrogging English great Greaves in the charts.
The 32-year-old scored at the start of each half, with Karim Benzema and Toni Kroos adding late goals after Iago Aspas was sent off for Celta, who did manage to respond through John Guidetti.
"I've had a very good season this year," the Portugal international said of his achievement.
"The coach [Zinedine Zidane] and my team-mates have really helped me.
"We have a very good system, blending young players with experienced ones. Personally, I'm helping the team with my goals and I'm very happy about that."
Real Madrid's win means they need just a point from their weekend game at Malaga to win the La Liga title for the first time in five years.
The capital club head to Malaga on Sunday three points clear of Barcelona, who will retain their crown if they beat Eibar and Real lose on the south coast, due to their superior goal difference.
On the Malaga mission, Ronaldo added: "Winning is always the goal for this team and it's what we do.

"Malaga are a good team, but we are Real Madrid and we must show that we are better than them and that we want to be champions."
Meanwhile, Isco is demanding "one last push" from Real Madrid at Malaga as they close in on the La Liga title.
"We've just won another cup final and now we need one last push at La Rosaleda, which will not be easy," the former Malaga forward told Real's official website:
"We are highly motivated and, although we only need a point, we will go there to win, as always.
"Going back to my hometown is always special for me, and on this occasion we could win the league there, which has never happened before."
