Real Madrid defender Marcelo has signed a new five-year deal that will keep him at the club until the summer of 2022.
The 29-year-old joined in 2007, making almost 300 appearances as Real have maintained their status as one of the most successful clubs in world football.
The Brazil international can boast three Champions League titles to his name, along with four La Liga crowns.
Marcelo is set to sign his new deal in front of the media at a press conference on Thursday.
A Real Madrid statement read: "Real Madrid C. F. and Marcelo have agreed to extend the player's contract, which will see him remain at the club until 30 June 2022.
"Tomorrow, Thursday, at 2pm, Marcelo will appear before the media in the press room of the Santiago Bernabéu stadium."
Marcelo won't be available for selection on Sunday evening against Real Sociedad because of a two-match ban, the game is live on Sky Sports Football.
