Cristiano Ronaldo hopes for Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale reunion at Club World Cup

Cristiano Ronaldo is hoping to be reunited with his attacking partners Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale at the Club World Cup.
The Real Madrid stars have formed a lethal trio since 2013, but injuries have meant the 'BBC' are yet to start a game together this season.
And that absence has been felt as they have laboured on domestic and European fronts. Real currently sit fourth in La Liga, eight points behind leaders Barcelona, and only managed to finish second in their Champions League group behind Tottenham.
"I like that the squad is complete, not only with Karim and Gaz," Ronaldo told beIN Sports. "I like that there are no injuries, it is a good sign, a sign that we are all together and that the squad is very good.
"It would be great if BBC played together again."
Real have won the Club World Cup twice, following their Champions League triumphs in 2014 and 2016, and Ronaldo said it is a trophy they desperately want to lift again.
"It is a very important tournament for us," he added. "It's obviously a pleasure to play it because you can only do it if you've won the Champions League.
"I've had the chance to win the Club World Cup with Real Madrid and also with Manchester United. It's a competition that I like a lot. What I want is to win and if it's possible to score and help the team win this cup."
