Bantams hope for French boost
Sylvain Meslien and Kamel Ouejdide could play for Bradford City on Saturday.
Bradford City's French hopefuls Sylvain Meslien and Kamel Ouejdide have begun their trial period at Valley Parade, and could feature in the friendly with Morecambe on Saturday.Bantams boss Colin Todd is running the rule over the Gallic duo as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the League One season, and left back Meslien has already impressed in training.
The 25-year-old is available on a free transfer after being released by St Etienne, and most recently spent a spell on loan with Championnat outfit Troyes.
Meslien, who spent eight years with Les Verts, has previously tried his luck in England with Burnley, but will hope to be more successful in impressing Bradford if granted international clearance in time for Saturday's friendly.
Todd will also be hoping to give a run out to striker Ouejdide, 26, who is also looking to secure a new club after spells with Fortuna Dusseldorf and French outfit Valence.
