Webo keen on Prem move

Osasuna striker Pierre Webo has issued a come-and-get-me plea to The Premiership.

Osasuna striker Pierre Webo has issued a come-and-get-me plea to The Premiership as he seeks to engineer a move to England.

The Cameroon international is eager to be reunited with his cousin, Chelsea's Geremi, as he considers a move away from Spain and La Liga.

Webo has told skysports.com that there are clubs tentatively interested in his services and that it is a dream of his to ply his trade in the English top flight.

‚Ç£Playing in England would definitely be the biggest challenge for me," Webo told skysports.com.

‚Ç£Yes, I really dream to play in the same league as my cousin Geremi.

‚Ç£There are big clubs in Spain and England, but I want to experience The Premiership.

‚Ç£I can't say I have had concrete contact with English clubs, but some came to watch me play with Osasuna and I don't know if they are interested.‚Ç¥

While Webo concedes his heart lies in England, he is looking forward to the rest of the season with an Osasuna side that enjoyed a fine campaign last time out.

In claiming a UEFA Champions League spot, albeit one they relinquished to Hamburg at the qualifying stage, Osasuna exceeded all expectations.

Webo is hopeful that this season's exploits can match those of last term, confident that Osasuna are equipped for another successful campaign.

‚Ç£Osasuna's season objective is to qualify for another European Cup," said Webo.

‚Ç£First we have to obtain the symbolic 45 points, then our staff could announce new objectives.

‚Ç£It is hard to have missed the Champions League, but the Uefa Cup is not too bad.

‚Ç£Our team has shown a lot of solidarity after the elimination."
