Alvaro Morata has extended his contract with Juventus until 2020.

The Spain international has scored 18 goals in 65 appearances since joining Juve last summer, including one in each leg of last season's Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.

He has found goals harder to come by this campaign, scoring just three times in 19 appearances.

However, the Serie A side announced on Thursday that he has signed a new deal that will keep him at the club for another 12 months.

"Alvaro Morata has extended his relationship with Juventus," said a statement from Juve. "The Spanish striker, whose previous agreement expired in 2019, has signed a new contract which expires on June 30, 2020."
