Panucci open to Fiorentina move
Per Kroldrup has signed an extension to his contract at Fiorentina, tying him to the club until 2012.
The Denmark international has been a revelation in Florence since moving to Italy from Everton in 2006.
Having endured a torrid time in England due to injury, the 30-year-old centre-half has been able to reignite his career in Serie A.
He was only too happy to sign a new deal when one was put to him and hopes he can help Fiorentina become a dominant force in European football.
"I am very happy with this choice," Kroldrup told Violachannel.it.
"It was a long negotiation, but it went well in the end.
"This choice is both a personal and sporting one. I want to return to good levels with my team-mates and to help us get back into Europe."
Great team
Meanwhile, veteran defender Christian Panucci has revealed that he would welcome the opportunity to join Fiorentina.
The 37-year-old is currently without a club after being released by Parma in February.
"They're a great team and Florence is a fantastic city," Panucci told Radio Toscana.
"I don't want to advertise myself, but surely if an offer came in from the club I would have to seriously consider it."
