Agent to finalise terms with Italian giants

Diego Milito's agent claims the Inter Milan striker's contract negotiations are running smoothly. Argentina international Milito had a fantastic campaign with the Nerazzurri last season, firing his side to a remarkable treble. Following the departure of former manager Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid, speculation had mounted that the 31-year-old forward could be on his way out of the San Siro. However, Milito's agent Fernando Hidalgo has revealed a new contract will be written up on Thursday. "Tomorrow we will start the preparation of the new contract", he told Sky Italia. "Then I'll fly to Buenos Aires to allow Diego signing it. Everything is okay and next week I'll be again back to Italy to give the contract to the Italian League." Milito's current contract is set to expire in 2013, but the new deal is thought to run for an extra year.
