Fiorentina are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Udinese that will see the Tuscan club acquire full ownership of winger Juan Cuadrado.

The two Serie A clubs co-own the 26-year-old, with Cuadrado spending the last two seasons in Florence.

The Colombia international has been strongly linked with a move to Spanish giants Barcelona this summer after a campaign that saw him score 11 goals and set up five more in 32 league appearances for the Viola.

Fiorentina are moving quickly to sign the South American outright for a reported 15million euros.

When asked about Cuadrado's transfer to Fiorentina, Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta said to www.tuttomercatoweb.com: "We are at the final stages of the deal but we still have to discuss certain issues.

"We will need a few more hours. I don't think there will be any problems but I cannot reveal any more details."

Cuadrado is currently competing at the World Cup in Brazil with Colombia.
