Inter Milan forward Rodrigo Palacio has signed a one-year extension to his contract, keeping him at the club until June 2017.
The 33-year-old, who has won 27 caps for Argentina, joined Inter in 2012 after a three-year spell at Genoa and has netted 37 goals in 110 appearances for Roberto Mancini's side
Palacio had been linked with a move back to his homeland, but has opted to help Inter in their quest to secure a first league title since 2010.
"There's nothing like playing for this club," he told the team's official website.
"I'm delighted and I can't wait to be involved in the big matches this season has in store for us. I thank Inter and the fans."
Inter, who are one point clear at the top of Serie A, host Sassuolo on Sunday lunchtime before a trip to Atalanta next weekend.
