Inter keeper did not suffer major injury and expected to feature
Inter Milan goalkeeper Julio Cesar is set to play in the game against Chelsea following a car accident.
The Brazilian stopper is expected to feature in Italy on Wednesday for the UEFA Champions League last-16 first leg tie, with his involvement having been in doubt.
According to Italian newspaper
Gazzetta dello Sport, Cesar suffered bruising to his face in the incident, which happened when he was driving his Lamborghini near Inter and AC Milan's shared San Siro stadium.
Although he did not suffer serious injuries, the 30-year-old missed training on Monday in order to rest but now looks likely to play.
Cesar has been a regular in the Inter team since moving from Flamengo in 2005 and his recovery will improve the Nerazzurri's chance of overcoming their English opponents.
Wednesday's game holds an extra significance for Inter manager Jose Mourinho, who takes on his former club for the first time since his departure from Stamford Bridge in 2007.
