Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny will be out for up to six weeks after injuring his finger in Wednesday's Champions League match against Barcelona.

Szczesny, who is on a season-long loan from Arsenal, had to be replaced early in the second-half of the 1-1 draw following a clash with Luis Suarez.

Roma said tests have confirmed Szczesny "did not sustain a fracture to the fourth finger of his left hand" but that the Poland international has a ligament strain.

The club added that he is expected to be back in "four to six weeks".
