Defender looking forward to move to the San Siro
Chievo Verona's veteran defender Mario Yepes claims he has agreed a deal to join AC Milan at the end of the season.
Yepes is out of contract at Chievo in the summer and he has been heavily linked with a free transfer move to the San Siro.
The Colombian's Chievo team-mate Sergio Pellissier recently suggested Yepes would be joining the Rossoneri and the 34-year-old has now confirmed his decision.
"I had a lot of contacts, but I can confirm that next year I'll be at AC Milan, that's for sure," he told radio station
Europe 1.
"We await the end of the championship to confirm everything. I hope it will be okay for the rest of my career."
Yepes joined Chievo from Paris St Germain in 2008 and will be joining a Milan squad that will reportedly be strengthened with cut-price signings in the summer.
