Serie A strugglers Treviso have announced the loan signing of Milan striker Marco Borriello.

Borriello has penned a deal until the end of the season, after spending the first half of the campaign at Sampdoria.

The 23-year-old will hope to gain more first-team action at Treviso after spending most of his time at the Blucerchiati on the bench.

Borriello has always struggled to make an impact at Milan and may be looking to make any loan move permanent.

Treviso are currently 19th in Serie A, six points away from safety.
