Borussia Dortmund were held to a second straight draw as Darmstadt scored a last-minute equaliser at the Westfalenstadion on Sunday.

The 2-2 draw takes Thomas Tuchel's men to within four points of Bayern Munich at the top of the Bundesliga, but means they can only narrow the gap on the champions when they meet next weekend, and not overtake them.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang kept up his remarkable form since the start to the season with both goals against Darmstadt.

The Gabon international extended his league record of having scored in each of his side's first seven games of the season, for a total of nine goals - just one fewer than Bayern's Robert Lewandowski.

Marcel Heller had given Darmstadt a shock lead that they were able to hold onto until an hour had been played, but after Aubameyang turned it around, Aytac Sulu silenced the home fans with his second important goal of the season, after earning his side a 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

In Sunday's other game, Eintracht Frankfurt were punished for wasting their chances as they were pegged back to a 1-1 draw against Hertha Berlin.

Alexander Meier scored his ninth goal in his last 10 games for the Eagles, but a late Vladimir Darida equaliser denied them maximum points at the Waldstadion.
