Ljuboja moves on

Wolfsburg have signed out-of-favour Stuttgart striker Danijel Ljuboja on loan until the end of the season. The 29-year-old Serbia international, who had been told he had no future at the Gottlieb-Daimler-Stadion, impressed Wolves coach Felix Magath at the club's winter training camp in Portugal and has now been handed the chance to get his career back on track. Wolfsburg have also secured the option of making the deal permanent should Ljuboja find his feet at the VW Arena. Magath will be hoping that Ljuboja's firepower can help boost his squad after a disappointing Bundesliga season so far that sees the ambitious club languishing in 11th place in the table.
