Striker focused on Hertha despite imminent exit

Hertha Berlin striker Marko Pantelic insists he has held no talks with any other clubs regarding his future. The Serbia international is set to become a free agent in the summer and is allowed to open negotiations with any interested parties. He has fallen out of favour at Hertha as a result of his refusal to pen an extension at the Olympic Stadium and currently finds himself marooned on the sidelines. However, he believes he could still do a job for the team and has made it clear that his sole focus at the moment is on life in the German capital. "Everyone knows my abilities well, not just clubs from the Bundesliga," Pantelic told BILD. "I will get what I want, because everyone has seen what I am capable of over the last few years. "But for now I am thinking only about Hertha. We could win the Bundesliga if we play to our best. That is my focus, nothing else."

Party

Meanwhile, Pantelic is hoping on-loan Liverpool striker Andriy Voronin can carry his recent fine form through until the end of the season and help Hertha to the title. "Andriy is playing very well, and for the sake of the city and the club I hope he will continue to do so," he said. "But I know how difficult it is to score goals on a regular basis. "Maybe the whole team can go on performing well for the next two months and we can have a big party at the end of the season."
