Japanese international on trial in Switzerland

Freiburg forward Kisho Yano is expected to leave the club on a permanent basis after going on trial in Switzerland. The Japan international is hoping to impress at FA Aarau and, if he earns a deal, could move due to Switzerland's transfer window not closing until mid-February. Yano's contract expires in the summer, but he has not featured in the 2011/12 Bundesliga and Freiburg general manager Dirk Dufner has confirmed the player is set for a winter exit. Dufner told Kicker-Sportmagazin: "Kisho Yano is on his way out. He has joined Aarau for a trial period. "He would be able to move to Switzerland, as they have got a different transfer window ruling." Dufner added: "If he is not moving to Switzerland, he could still be on his way back to Japan, as Japanese clubs are able to sign players until mid-March."
