Wesley deal not yet done

Werder Bremen have denied the transfer of Brazil midfielder Wesley to Palmeiras is already a done deal.

Details still to be agreed before Brazilian returns to South America

Werder Bremen have denied the transfer of Brazil midfielder Wesley to Palmeiras is already a done deal. The two clubs recently found an agreement on a fee, reportedly £5million, for the 24-year-old, who has been experiencing disciplinary problems this season. But Bremen general manager Klaus Allofs insists there is still a long way to go before a deal for Wesley is completed. Allofs told Deutsche Presseagentur: "I am able to confirm we have reached an agreement in principle with Palmeiras over the transfer of Wesley. "However, the deal is not done yet. The paperwork needs to be worked out as much as the other details need to be fixed properly." Bremen last week signed professional terms with forward Niclas Fullkrug and the 19-year-old is now under contract with the club until the summer of 2015.
