General manager will be the subject of spring negotiations

Stuttgart general manager Fredi Bobic has been offered assurances over his future with the Bundesliga club. Chairman Gerd Mauser has confirmed that the club are sure they want to keep the former Bolton striker and negotiations will begin in the spring. Bobic's current contract expires next summer, but Stuttgart have been impressed by his work over the past two years. Mauser told Sudwestrundfunk media: "Fredi Bobic is doing a great job. There should not be any doubt about this. "We have already talked about this and smiled. We agreed that concrete negotiations will be held come the spring time. "Fredi Bobic has been doing great transfer deals for Stuttgart this term. In most recent seasons, we didn't do such good transfers."
