Arjen Robben has been ruled out of Bayern Munich's Champions League clash with Arsenal on Tuesday - but Robert Lewandowski is fit.

Robben was injured during the Netherlands' Euro Qualifier against Iceland last month and has not played since. He had targeted the Champions League match for his return.

But Bayern, who flew into London on Sunday evening to avoid the capital's Monday morning traffic, confirmed: "For Robben this trip is too soon."

Poland international Lewandowski - in sensational goalscoring form in recent weeks - picked up a knock during Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Werder Bremen.

But he confirmed: "I'm 100 per cent fit. I'm feeling very good. Arsenal are under pressure, but they're always dangerous at home."

Arsenal lost their opening two Champions League games against Dynamo Kiev and Olympiakos.

Bayern won their ninth straight game - the best start to a season in Bundesliga history - by beating Bremen 1-0. Thomas Muller scored the goal, but it was the first match in seven that Lewandowski has failed to score.
