Vittek is surplus to requirements at his current club Lille and although the 28-year-old still has two years left to run on his current deal with the French outfit, the striker would relish the opportunity to return to the Frankenstadion, where he scored 36 goals in 124 games. The Bratislava born forward told the Nurnberger Nachrichten: "I would be really, really happy if they (Nurnberg) were to call me." "It is not so much to do with money - I simply don't have any offers." Nurnberg attempted to re-sign the Slovakian in January, however, Lille's asking price was too much for Dieter Hecking's side. The forward spent the second half of last season on loan with Ankaragucu in Turkey but has now returned to the Ligue 1 outfit, whom he joined in 2008.
