Kevin De Bruyne admits he could leave Wolfsburg in the summer should the right offer materialise.

The Belgium international has thrived at Wolfsburg since joining from Chelsea in January 2014, scoring 10 goals in 31 appearances this season and holding a joint-Bundesliga record of 20 assists.

His impressive form has seen him linked with some of Europe's top clubs, including Manchester City and Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain.

He is under contract at Wolfsburg until 2019 but told German publication Kicker: “You never know what will happen in football.

"A club might step in and make an offer that pleases Wolfsburg and also makes me happy.

"Right now, I say that I will stay in Wolfsburg. But I don't like it when players say they'll stay no matter what and are gone after the first offer."

De Bruyne made only two Premier League starts for Chelsea after joining from Belgian club Genk in 2012.

He spent the 2012-13 season on loan at Werder Bremen and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho quickly decided the player was surplus to requirements after he returned to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2013.

But De Bruyne said: "I was younger back then, and not a lot of very young players get a shot in that team.

"I think I am capable of playing at every club."
