Borussia Dortmund have dropped striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for disciplinary reasons.

The Gabon striker was not included in Dortmund's squad for Friday night's Bundesliga game at Stuttgart, but the club did not elaborate on the "disciplinary reasons" in a social media post.

It is not the first time Aubameyang has been suspended by Dortmund. Last November, he was left out of the club's 1-0 Champions League win over Sporting Lisbon for "internal reasons".

Dortmund host Tottenham in the Champions League on Tuesday followed by a league game against local rivals Schalke on Saturday.

Aubameyang is Dortmund's top scorer in all competitions this season with 15 goals but he is without a goal in his last five games.
